A Gorgeous Bride, A Gorgeous Venue, A Gorgeous Wedding….California Dreamin’  should be the theme for this beautiful wedding  staged at the infamous {La Valencia Hotel} in La Jolla California.  Visitor flock here to bask in the sun and enjoy the ultimate southern California lifestyle.  La Valencia is located in the heart of La Jolla and with its Mediterranean style architect  and overlooking the Pacific coast, it is know for it’s old world charm.  Megan and Andrew has elected La Jolla for the destination of their wedding to mirror their personalities.  The couple’s celebration begins in the local {Mary star of the Sea} church and ended a reception in style at the courtyard at the Resort.  La Jolla based coordinator {Catherine Bachelier Smith} of CBS weddings lead this seamless celebration.   Guests were greeted with a tablescape displaying wheatgrass and solid mass of White hydrangeas decorated by San Diego florist {Karen Tran Florals} The evening decor coalesced with the understated elegance of the resort.  The highlight of the evening was set by the electric sounds of {Wayne Foster Entertainment}.  Guests danced underneath the stars as this amazing San Diego live band concluded the perfect  San Diego wedding. Megan’s Story:

Megan and Andy met in August of 2002 in NYC. Megan had just moved to NY and was working at a Sports Bar where Andy frequented with friends.  They were friends for one year before dating.  Then the proposal came in June of 2007.  Andy returned home with a bottle of wine and cheese & crackers. They enjoyed the gorgeous evening by talking a walk down Windansea Beach.  Sitting on the beach watching the sunset, Andy got down on one knee and proposed!  Their wedding was held at the quaint Mary Star of the Sea with an amazing reception to follow at the beautiful and historic La Valencia Hotel.  Both venues were beautifully designed by Karen Tran Florals.  “We have never seen The Med. Room look this gorgeous!”, explained Catherine Bachelier Smith, her wedding coordinator.  Wayne Foster Entertainment filled the room with both elegant and fun, “rock’n” music all night!  “We cannot say enough about Wayne Foster Entertainment. Wow!  We knew they were amazing, but they went above and beyond our expectations.  Our guests are still talking about them today.  We had no idea they would continuously change outfits and include props in their performance, which really got our guest out on the dance floor.  From the moment they stared playing we had a packed dance floor and that’s what we wanted!”, explained Megan.
